Nikki Sixx says YEAY!

Posted in Gossip, Newz on January 24th, 2006 by Dr. Rock

Founder and bassist of Mötley Crüe, says that the “Hollywood walk of fame award” fits the band:

“We fit in there with all the dead movie stars,” He says while joining the other band members singer Vince Neil, guitarist Mick Mars and drummer Tommy Lee for the ceremony, Wednesday 25 of January.

“We are from Hollywood; that`s where we played our first gig. It`s nice to be recognized for your work. It’s all right by me,” he stated.

I’m glad that they will get this “award” after these years that passed with both ups and downs, in bed, musically and in private lifes. This band have influenced lots of nowadays rock bands and HURRAY for ‘em to get this prize.

In memory of Lepard..

Posted in CRASHDÏET on January 23rd, 2006 by Dr. Rock

The last days everything have been about this special person. Personally I loved him for being something I wanna be, a person that does what he wants to. To start something big and break the silence of real rock music.

The rest of CRASHDÏET have opened up a new message board for the memory of their band mates loss. I hope to see you all respect this and not to post numorous of bullshit crap as their old forum was filled with.

Once again I solute Dave Lepard for being who he were, and my condelences to his friends and family! I also want to wish everyone who knew him better to remember the good things he brought to you, cuz that is what I will do!

The forum is linked through their website @ CRASHDIET.org

Chris Laney, guitarist of Zan Clan, had some words to say about the sad happening that landed in all of CRASHDÏET’s fans, the loss of Dave Lepard.

He posted his own words about it HERE and I understand how he feel about it. Dave had started something that could take over the world, and I really hope that someone will take it further.

Aerosmith’s touring days may be over..

Posted in Gossip, Newz on January 12th, 2006 by Dr. Rock

Aerosmith’s touring days may be over soon. After touring with Lenny Kravitz last year they feel that they wanna get away from the tour’s and maybe stop with it at all. Aerosmith’s guitarist, Joe Perry:

“We’re definitely closer to the end than to the beginning, and the number of times that we are going to play is a finite number. When you’re young or even middle-aged, you figure that you’re going to live forever and you don’t care. But it’s different when you get to the end of it. First of all it’s pretty strange to have a rock band when you’re this age, and even stranger to have one with this much energy. You can go out there and walk through this stuff, but we always try to keep the edge.”

Joe, had some difficulties in the late 70′s with drugs and left the band. But in the mid-80′s he joined again but was “fed up with Aerosmith’s unreliable behaviour of letting people down”
