Peep Show

This band messaged me on myspace a few hours ago and what can i say i cannot stop listening to the songs they have available on there myspace.

There album is available to download (for money) currently, but if you wait a little longer the CD version will be available soon (4th of march i think)

According to the bands Bio, CRASHDIET’s Martin Sweet and Peter London gave the band advice on recording the album “Out For Blood”. So if its good enough for CRASHDIET, its good enough for you!!

These guys are down and dirty, think Motley Crues “Red Hot”, the first time you heard it, this is the vibe i got from this bands songs.

Tommy Lee announces New Motley Crue Info!

Posted in Mötley Crüe, Newz on February 28th, 2008 by Dr. Lee

“MÖTLEY CRÜE drummer Tommy Lee has revealed that the band’s world tour will kick off on July 4. The trek is expected to coincide with the release of the group’s ninth studio album, titled “The Dirt”, which is tentatively due on July 8. A yet-to-be-named single will arrive at radio stations on May 7.”

Sounds good to me!!

Very excited, i will definately try to catch them on this tour if they hopefully pop to the UK.

Rock N Roll Survivors: Heavens Basement

Posted in Newz on February 26th, 2008 by Dr. Lee

Now before i continue, you may all be wondering, who is this? Well a few years ago in england a band was formed known as Hurricane Party. They were a great UK Rock n Roll band, one of the early ones to start playing anthemic rock n roll again in the dark times of the early 00s. After label issues the band changed names and became the band known as Roadstar. Roadstar released two very rocking albums (Grand Hotel, Glass Mountain) and successfully toured the UK numourous times. However, (while nothing was ever confirmed by either sides) there shortlived success was cut dead due to internal struggles with management and label. Eventually the band split and were unable to ever be associated with the music they made under that name ever again. Its been a year and everyone including myself thought that was the end for the band. However today i was rather surprised to see a bulletin posted over myspace announcing a new band by one of the members. So i took a trip over to check it out and it is infact all the members of roadstar (post grand hotel era) together under a new name, Whilst not associating at all with there past works the new stuff rocks and is just what the fans wanna hear from the guys.

Check them out, best comparrison i could make is Thunder crossed with Bon Jovi and a touch of Aerosmith!

Disturbed, Hanoi Rocks and Airbourne…

Posted in SRF'08 on February 25th, 2008 by Dr. Rock

Disturbed, Hanoi Rocks and Airbourne are added to the bill on SRF’08. Airbourne are one of the favorites here on Rock Hospital, along with Hanoi Rocks who have inspired lots of new glam rock bands. Disturbed thou, they aren’t a typical SRF band, but I might say that they kick ass. Haven’t heard from the new album but they have some classics that are worth watching/hearing.
