You can now vote for the bands you would like to see on the next Sweden Rock Festival. It is not something that will decide what bands that will play at the festival, it is only some guidelines for the festival booking management. This gives them some knowledge on what the audience would like to see.

Just got a message from my brother about Volbeat releasing new songs on their myspace. I checked it and it was “only” (
) 2 snippets from their new upcoming allbum (Guitar Gangsters and Cadillac Blood). The songs are called “Wild River of Hell” and “WE”. I don’t know if that is the correct spelling for the second title but it says only “WEsnippet” on their MySpace player, so I guess it is called “WE”. (Nintendo Wii, anyone?)
Well the second song, “WE” the intro sounds like a combination of “Human Instrument” and “Sad Mans Tongue”, while the whole song has the feeling of “Maybellene i Hofteholder”.
The first song, “Wild River of Hell” has the style of their heavier songs, such as “Devil or the Blue cat soul” and “Danny and Lucy” e.t.c.
You have to love these songs if you are a VolBeat fan, well that is what I am doing, I am liking what I am hearing.

Im not very impressed myself. It looks like to me the whole glam punk image has been ditched. I dont know how the rest of the glam/sleaze community will feel about this change but its left me very disappointed. Lets hope the album makes up for it.

So the results are in, and you people have answered: Downloading music from the internet is a good thing and it helps spreading the music around the world.
And that is exactly what I thought, it is good for the music. Why shouldn’t we download what the heck we want? If we want to support the band, we download their music and we go to their shows, buying official clothes from their website and other merchandise. And if we are hardcore fans, we even buy their albums, that is what I am trying to do with my low income. Maybe they should lower the price, cuz free music cannot be beaten if the costs aren’t lower than they are at the moment.
In the future I will be doing a bigger article about the music industry, by contacting record companies and band/artists asking questions about downloading music and such. Hopefully before the end of this year.

The quality is watchable as well as listenable. I love this song as much I love all their other songs. Hope you love them to.
If you have seen them live or anything, please speak out, give this post a comment and let us know…
