Upcoming Reviews: Hardcore Superstar, And Dynazty
Hey, its been a while guys. In a June i will be posting reviews of the new Hardcore Superstar album “Beg For It”, and the debut album by Dynazty “Bring the Thunder”!!!!
For all those unaware of these two bands heres some small information.
Hardcore Superstar are a Swedish Hard Rock band. They mix sleazy hard rock with heavy metal and thrash metal elements. Making them one of the heaviest sleaze metal bands out of Sweden!!!

Dynazty are a new band, who judging by there two preview clips and influences are a mix between sleaze, funk, and some old school metal. Think Extreme, mixed with Whitesnake? Lots of shredding and grooves to be found with these guys!!!
Funk? Dom har väl inte ens hört Sly and The Family Stone, Funkadelic, The Meters och allt annat…
i do not understand Swedish. I am from the United Kingdom.
However i assume you are giving me a bollocking on using the term Funk. Pure funk itself are the bands that you have indeed mentioned. I love Funkadelic, especially the albums they did between 74 and 79.
However funk elements have been used in rock. Bands like the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Electric Boys and Extreme mix funk elements with rock and metal. Thats what i ment when i described there sound as funk.
However upon listening to Dynaztys album i can confirm the only song on there which has that funky element is Bring The Thunder. The Rest is more melodic rock.
