What person or band, got you into rock?
I guess that it must have been Sebastian bach tha really got me into this “Marshall mouth” livin type of thingie.
But along Mr:Bach i`ve always loved Axl and his diva stylie and the rest of the la 80s bunch of wakkos…

What was the first CD or LP you ever bought?
My first album i bought was Europe 86 , but i got a whole deal of vinyls at an even earlier age from my sis, dunno if i really understood it then thou…hehe

The best song you’ve ever heard?
Drink fight n fuck with GG allin

Do you have any favorite bands, name 3 of them?
10cc , Skids , The gunners.

Do you have any goals in your life, if you do what could that be?
I really wanna go into space in real life not just in a hallucinogenic way….stay clean.

crashdiet demo 2005 front

If you would pick a band, any kind, what band would do an
opening for CrashDiet on a tour?

I wanna se Seb bach cryin on his knees coz i wipe his ass on stage. hehe but i really would like to be onstage together with Lill lindfors.

Name one or more bands that should do a reunion, and why
I dont like reunions at all, if the old chums decide to call it quits then it should be like that, perhaps crashdiet can be the only reason for me to see a reunion that i would like….

Do you think a persons image, like names and clothes are important to
become a rock star?

Of fukkin corpse i think its 50/50 with looks musicallity image and the whole 69 yards but i think the main thing is the fukkin attitude if ya aint got it and dont think yer the coolest walkin creature on earth , how would you then persuade ppl to dig yer wikked act of art.

dave lepard grave rip

Why did you come up with the idea of having style inspiration from
the 80s (not that its a bad idea, I think it totally rock)?

I guess its mainly coz its a fukkin killer look with the hair and everythin, and i was like so fed up on all these shorthaired headbangers….doesnt quite look that cool for me….

Now this is my last question to you Dave, what do you think of this
interview. Was it good, bad, not important or anything?

Its alwayz kewl to do interviews with ppl with a burning heart for rock n roll…..

And one thing, what would you like to say to all the kids out there
wanting to become a rock star like you?

KEEP THE FUKKIN HAIR IN SHAPE & REST IN SLEAZE…….we do this for you all…..

4 years after the passing of Dave Lepard

Posted in CRASHDÏET, Newz on January 19th, 2010 by Dr. Rock

It’s been four years since the passing of front man Dave Lepard of CRASHDIET and RockEyez.com has done an exclusive interview with Lisbeth Hellman, Dave’s Mother. You can read the entire interview at http://www.rockeyez.com

Sad day, and I can still remember the chat session me and Him had at really late hours before he went missing. I still listen to his songs and its still awesome as it was 4-5 years ago. Remember him well, and remember him forever. I will re-release my interview with him again this year, it will be published (again) tomorrow.

Olli goes 100% 80′s with Reckless Love

Posted in CRASHDÏET, Videos on November 5th, 2009 by Dr. Rock

Olli Twisted, who fronted CRASHDÏET for a short period of time have been teaming up with his old band Reckless Love and released a kinda sweet and feel-good-happy-face video, all inspired from the 80′s, I suppose. Check it out below:

Will Simon Cruz do a good job in CRASHDÏET?

Posted in CRASHDÏET, Rock Hospital on October 19th, 2009 by Dr. Rock

poll-simon-yes-no

So its time to end this long poll that I have put of for you. Will Simon Cruz do a good job in CRASHDÏET? And the hot results are in: YES! he will apparently do a splendid and superb job in CRASHDÏET. I voted maybe, cuz I was not sure, but after some ear-handling of their new samples with Simon on vocals, I am kind of convinced. Most of you voted in the favor of him and some of you didn’t while the others was not sure, like me.

This means that the band has the fans under their wings and hopefully Simon will prove himself as the perfect front man for the band, after the death of Dave Lepard and departure of Olli Twisted. As I wrote in a post a couple of days I go, they have my vote and I hope that this will encourage them to do a better and greater job. Good luck guys, we are with you on this one, Simon is a keeper :)

CRASHDÏET with Simon sounds good

CRASHDÏET, the band that made me wanna start this site, is going strong once again. With Dave, the band made a great mark on the history of glam metal, a mark that no other band can do nowadays, and this mark all fell when Dave decided not to be among us anymore. We felt sad, angry and the spark that made the glam metal in Sweden was thrown away. Other bands tried to achieve the same thing but haven’t really gotten as close as CRASHDÏET did.

Time went by and in 2006 Olli joined for a short period, he tried to fill the lead singer role in the band but didn’t feel that it was something for him. A new time of waiting passed by and it all started again, CRASHDÏET had announced a new singer, he was named Simon Cruz. Simon is a great vocalist, much dirtier and rock n’ roll driven then Olli was. As I start to listen to the samples (on their website, if you are logged in) I realize that this band has to go on and I feel that Simon can do this, and I must say that, if they stick to Simon and he doesn’t decide to quit (and leave the fans) I guess that this is their chance. Take up the torch again guys, but must be the last try. I give you the best of luck in the future and hope to see you live soon.

CRASHDÏET merch: New Jersey shirt looks pretty cool

I must say that this peice of art looks very nice. I wonder what CRASHDÏET will go for this time, in what image directive and so on, they had this cemetary thing going on last time with Olli, with Simon it can be diffrent. Maybe they are going for a cleaner rock/metal look, perhaps not that glam-ish anymore, if you look at the new photos. I hope they do good this time, “The Unattractive Revolution” isn’t an album that will keep on living like “Rest in Sleaze” will, I still listen to that album and “TUR” didn’t really do such an impact as “RIS” did.
Well the only thing that can tell how this story continues is to wait and see, hopefully they will ignite themself and be stronger then ever, who knows.

Olli and CRASHDÏET goes separate ways

Posted in CRASHDÏET on July 13th, 2008 by Dr. Rock

Dear fans…

We have decided, in a mutual decision to go separate ways with Olli.
We need a singer who can commit 100%, which unfortunately Olli couldn´t live up to. He as many knows about, has another band in finland and we couldn’t settle for sharing our time. We want to go further than any band has done before and we cant afford to spend time just waiting. We need to function as a full unit, all the time!

It was, as mentioned above, a mutual decision and this aint the result of any kind of argument. We definately will go on as friends, and we wish Olli all the best!

Just to make things clear. CRASHDÏET has no intention of giving up. The three of us are more hungry than ever and you ain´t seen the end of CRASHDÏET yet!

//Eric, Martin and Peter

That message can be read on the official CRASHDÏET site so it is not fake if you might think so. They aren’t angry at each other or anything, it is mutual as you can read so they are now looking for a new singer, I guess. Or they might even have one already, a wildcard-ish person.
We will find out soon, and I will come back to this topic ASAP
