Dirty Penny – Young & Reckless Album review

Ok well. Its been a few years since 2007s simple but excellent “Take it Sleezy”. The debut release was a big fun glam rock n roll album. It wasnt technical, and many of the riffs you could place were taken from Motley Crue and Def Leppard. However the sheer energy and fun the album had made up for it. It was full with sing-along rock tracks and feelgood fun.

Wolf RavenousIt staggers the imagination to think how long these Swedes have been peddling their brand of unadulterated, campy heavy metal. Wolf’s sound has so much fun packed into it that no metalhead can resist their lupine charms. Yet are they the biggest band out of Sweden these days? Not quite. Nevertheless, fans of dueling guitars, hook-laden melodies, and epic vocals are well-catered for in this, Wolf’s fifth outing, “Ravenous.”
